• It is very important that this operation is carried out after the engine has overheated to determine that the head is serviceable before further work is carried out.
• This is especially important on aluminum
• We test all heads and blocks with a pressure of up to 100psi
• This is normal procedure when we undertake an overhaul
• Always use new head bolts when refitting cyl head
